Set up voice search so the remote keeps normal in-app search and gains a second quick search button.

Before You Start

You need the TECHNOZON Search APK and access to Google Play / Play Protect settings on the box.

If Play Protect blocks the APK installation, temporarily disable scanning for the installation. You can turn protection back on after the APK is installed.

Step-by-step Setup

  1. Install the TECHNOZON Search APK. If Google Play blocks the installation, disable Play Protect temporarily.
  2. Open the TECHNOZON Search app settings.
  3. Enable Listen for voice immediately when the app starts.
  4. Open the TV box settings: Settings → Favorite app button.
  5. Select TECHNOZON Search as the favorite app for the TV button.
  6. Test both search buttons on the remote: the global search button and the TV button under it.

Result

You get two search buttons: the standard global search stays on its own button, and the TV button opens TECHNOZON Search.

Nothing breaks: apps that use their own internal search keep working normally. You also get fast voice launch through the favorite app button.
